Elearning Expats Go Places

Greetings -  I am an advisor and researcher in the field of E-Learning/online computer-based learning to the English-speaking expat community. 

I became interested in this field as a result of my personal experience and the challenges of adjusting to life in several foreign countries.  In particular, I found I needed additional skills to jumpstart career opportunities abroad, and local training was not available.  This led me to rely upon my laptop, and the universe of E-learning opportunities.  At the same time, I discovered that many valuable learning opportunities, particularly non-cost skills training and courses, are often buried in the vastness of the World Wide Web.  At the present time, there is no clearing-house of information and resources tailored to the needs of the large expat community worldwide - but I am working on it!   

Through this blog, I look forward to your questions regarding E-Learing from abroad as well as any other related issues on expat life.
